Lego Spotlight: 918 Space Transport

October 14, 2011 / Gary Hilson

918 Space Transport is a Classic Space set released in 1978. It was one of the very first sets of Lego Space.

Growing up in Ottawa my best friend down the street had it and I was very jealous because I didn’t have any larger sets, and this was one of the first large Space Lego sets, totaling 85 pieces.

It Is Possible to Assemble an Imperial Star Destroyer in Your Living Room

October 7, 2011 / Gary Hilson

I bought this set almost two years ago off eBay but only recently got around to assembling it. I estimate it took about six hours total. It’s pretty cool but of course it’s not as big as it should be in relation to the other Star Wars Lego sets.
